Its been many years since my first dobe and am getting a puppy (9 wk old) in March. We have a 16yr old indoor cat and a 3 yr old mixed terrier about 8 pounds who is mommies dog and close to her at all times. She can be a little protective of certain things like toys or bones around the cat, but okay with people. She hasn't had a lot of socializing with other dogs and because of that, does not really know how to act other than agression or total submissive. I plan to spend a lot of time working the dobe in obedience which I've done before, and later in agility which I've never done before. Any suggestions, tips, or tricks on getting everyone to get along? I think feeding time will be interesting and playtime with family members etc.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of supervised interaction is the only thing that will get you there. If anyone is food aggressive, feed them all individually to prevent problems.
Steve Dobes are like potato chips, you really can't have just one...

Your puppy is going to want to play! This means the little terier is going to end up getting ticked off and put her foot down (maybe even a little nip) Thats OK though, as long as your around to growl at them when they start getting out of hand. sometimes it really is best to let em figure things out for themselves. I did this with my grumpy ole Boxer and puppy and now you cant seperate the two.
