I have always enjoyed SAR, and I now use my EuroDobes. I had two good American bred dog over the years that caught on, I had another two that would have been great if I knew what it was back then, instead I taught them to hunt birds and we spent 100's of hours tracking birds in Northern Utah. Those are all great memories for me, there really isn't a thrill like watching a good dog follow some unseen path that we could never on our own follow. It almost becomes a spiritual thing for me. Are there any other SAR folks out here?

Hey. I havn't trained my Dobe to do anything special like that yet. We're still working on perfecting Obedience, but I'd like to train him to track. It would be cool for him to hunt too.

I can help you there! I made some great bird dogs out of Dobes, and we love to track!
